Born in Cookeville, Tennessee and raised in Livingston, Tennessee, Blakelee is no stranger to the Upper Cumberland. After graduating from Livingston Academy, Blakelee attended college at Tennessee Technological University, majoring in Psychology before pursuing her nursing career. She moved away from the Cumberland Plateau for over 12 years, living in New Orleans, Kansas City, and Nashville before returning home. During that time, she devoted her time and energy to learning all things dermatology, focusing on both the medical and the cosmetic aspects by working in general dermatology, Mohs surgery, plastic/reconstructive surgery, and as a cosmetic dermatology injector. She is grateful that prior to the opening of her own clinic that she had the opportunity to work extensively for many years in both private practice and in academic hospital settings such as Vanderbilt Medical Center and Children's Mercy to further her learning, as both have been integral into becoming the provider she is today.
Blakelee holds three honors degrees in nursing, two of which she graduated Summa Cum Laude (4.0), is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Association, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society, International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, Dermatology Nurses’ Association, and also serves as part of the Dermatology Nurse Practice cohort, creating valuable educational materials for dermatology nurses and nurse practitioners alike. She values continuing education above all else and is both a published author in academic and scholarly journals as well as a national-level clinical speaker, speaking at some of the most highly-sought after aesthetic conferences in the US, allowing her to share her focus on safety and efficacy with fellow providers.
When not learning or working, Blakelee prefers to spend her time with family and friends, in the community volunteering or educating schools on the importance of sun protection, riding on her Peloton, or at the beach (slathered in SPF, of course!).

Chelsea relocated from Texas to Nashville, Tennessee upon her acceptance into Belmont University's prestigious music business program. During her time in Nashville, she gained experience at renowned companies in the music industry like The Grand Ole Opry, Warner Music Group, Nashville Songwriters Association International, and Turner and Nichols and Associates. While still a senior at Belmont, Chelsea delved into Public Relations full-time, discovering her passion. With an extensive network of contacts in Nashville's music scene, she co-founded C2 Media Relations in 2012. Throughout her career, she collaborated closely with the media, managing tasks ranging from red carpets to media junkets, radio tours, and securing spots for clients on national television. During her time in the music industry, she worked with prominent clients including Rascal Flatts, Chase Rice, Easton Corbin, Lonestar, Lynn Anderson, the Oak Ridge Boys, Dailey & Vincent, Mark Wills, Jake Hoot, Clay Walker, and many others.
In 2016, Chelsea relocated from Nashville to Cookeville, juggling her music industry job with a new commute. After having her second child in 2021, she decided it was time to step away from the music industry in order to stay closer to home. In late 2021, Chelsea noticed a void in Cookeville's media scene and envisioned the creation of a fresh and stylish lifestyle magazine. The aim was to capture a big city vibe while remaining authentic to Cookeville's micropolitan essence. With her expertise in digital marketing, media, branding, PR, and management, she founded Cookeville Lifestyle Magazine, building the brand from the ground up and effectively introducing its first edition in the fall of 2022.
As if this weren't enough, Chelsea noted another void-- this time in Skin + Aesthetics. Once again utilizing her natural talents while also still juggling being a mother and entrepreneur with multiple successful ventures, she stepped into the role of the clinic's office manager in the spring of 2024 and immediately began transforming the office in a positive and refreshing way for both patients and employees alike.
When Chelsea isn't designing, keeping Blakelee straight, or distributing and marketing the magazine, she's lacing up her running shoes for a jog or spending time with her family and friends.
Teah is also a native of the Upper Cumberland, being born and raised in the Baxter area and remaining in the Upper Cumberland after graduating from Tennessee Tech University. She is the true image of an overachiever, juggling multiple roles within the community. Teah not only successfully achieves being an owner of a local insurance business and being fully involved in daily operations of it (Fields Insurance), but she also is the founder of a local non-profit aimed at providing resources for those in foster care (Safe and Sound). While to many that would leave no spare time, she somehow never ceases to find time in her busy schedule if it means having the ability to give to others.
When the idea for S+A's free acne clinic was first being proposed, she immediately jumped to action to volunteer her time to assist. She has a true passion for selflessly serving others and it is clear to everyone around her, so we are beyond grateful to have her as our acne clinic's Clinical Liaison. You'll find Teah at our Saturday Free Acne Clinic days assisting with all aspects of clinic operations with her warm and welcoming smile on her face.
When she isn't working or volunteering, Teah can usually be found with her husband, Cody, and her pets, Bug, Bones, and Hank. Beyond professional accolades, her endless talents also include teaching classes at church, sewing, cooking/baking, or creating, all while being coated in Colorescience's SPF.
We're continuing to grow!

If you've met Blakelee, you know her love for dogs, so it should come as no surprise that she created the most important clinic position of all, the CCO.
Before opening the clinic, Blakelee hired her first employee, her dog Maverick, as S+A's first Chief Canine Officer. He served faithfully in his role, offering unending support and unconditional love following each clinic day. He proudly held this position from January through November 2024, when he unexpectedly passed away. While the goal was eventually to be able to have Maverick assist in community outreach projects and join in S+A's school Sun Hero program, this unfortunately did not have the opportunity to take place. The loss of the clinic's best and most loved employee left quite a great hole and a long, strenuous search later took place to find just the right candidate to step their paws into this position.
After some healing, Blakelee moved forward with hiring Beasley as S+A's second CCO. He was born in July of 2024 and officially arrived on scene September 2024. We know he will never be a replacement for his predecessor, but we are very much looking forward to his presence and attributes we know he will bring to S+A's operations. After completion of becoming a therapy dog, he will be joining us for community outreach!
