Skin + Aesthetics proudly carries Galderma's Restylane brand dermal fillers. As we have said, we strive to choose the most tried and true products there are to keep our patients safe, while also providing excellent results. Restylane itself was the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler in the US and has been around since 2003, and we find it to be simply timeless. We have personally seen the results of Restylane since 2014 and feel confident in the results and safety.
We carry the entire Restylane portfolio of dermal fillers including Restylane-L, Lyft, Refyne, Defyne, Kysse, Contour, Eyelight, and Silk to ensure we have a solution for every concern.
01. WHAT FILLER BRANDS DO YOU CARRY?
While there are different options for what dermal fillers are made of in the United States, S+A carries dermal fillers that are composed of a gel-like substance with a hyaluronic acid (HA) base. Fillers are strategically injected to achieve your specific aesthetic goals. Dermal fillers are semi-permanent and can last approximately six to twelve months or longer depending on the type of filler chosen and the location of where it is injected. The body will metabolize and break down the filler over time. Maintenance appointments are needed.
02. How does filler work?
At S+A, we don't believe that no pain is no gain! At your appointment, the treatment area will be cleansed and we will apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before injection. Your injector will then distribute the dermal filler into the treatment area with a needle or cannula. Most patients report that filler injections feel similar to a firm pinch. The pain will dissipate quickly. Swelling, light bruising, and tenderness are normal and to be expected.
03. is filler painful?
Dermal filler results are immediate! Swelling will occur within minutes, so it is important to know that your immediate results will not be your final results; however, you'll see the final results after about two weeks when the swelling has subsided. Maintenance or "touch-up" injections are required every six to twelve months to preserve the results of your filler injections.
