Our Peel Lines -
Before: Your provider reviews your skin, history, and goals and may have you prep (and pause retinoids about a week prior). A consult ensures you get the right strength.
During: The peel is applied in office; you may feel warmth or mild tingling. Lighter peels are quick “lunchtime” treatments; stronger peels include a take-home aftercare kit.
After: Depending on the peel, expect anything from a subtle glow to several days of flaking or sheet peeling. Do not pick or peel the skin — let it shed naturally. Daily SPF is essential, since new skin is sun-sensitive.
Good to know: peels generally aren’t recommended during pregnancy/breastfeeding, if you’ve taken isotretinoin (Accutane) recently, or over active cold sores — we’ll confirm you’re a candidate at your visit.
